Wow he went ultra Neo-con there. I thought Bill Whittle was smarter than this. I hate to burst people’s bubble but these middle east uprisings are not about freedom. If there is one driving factor I would say it is food prices. The truth is George Bush and now BO’s foreign policy have been a disaster which has cost our nation far more harm than the enemy ever could. We are are borrowing billions from China (allowing them say in our national policy) in fight an enemy which could be defeated using a fraction of the force. It’s basic Sun Tzu. Long term foreign engagements eventually wear down any nation.

      Hi Trestin,
How to treat the situation is a difficult question to be sure. While I’m no isolationist, I don’t like nation building either. I don’t believe either works to our PR advantage. If we’re going to fight a war, let’s kick a$$, take names, plant a flag that says ‘mess with us again and we’ll be back’ and come home. That being said, one thing is sure in my mind. There will never be peace in the middle east except as described in Revelations.
