A couple of Automotivators inspired by the Wisconsin public employees union protests.

Photos thanks to Ann Althouse here and here.

Around the blogosphere:

The Trog has a question about the happenings.

R.S. McCain has a list of employee salaries and wonders on a Cheesehead Revolution.

General Belvedere has a few choice words as well.

Also, my favorite frugal female has found the Wanted Poster of the Day Week Month.

Update: Chris hands the hypocrites their walking papers.

American Perspective found the Dem’s a hidey-hole.

Civil discourse?

Jesse Jackson: “Someone threw a protest and didn’t invite me?”

Shamus sez: ‘Edumicashun = Indoctrinashun’

speaking of Spellchek…

Now, since it’s Friday, how about some music to fit the theme of this post?

  • Teresa February 18, 2011 at 9:12 pm

Enjoyed the music. “You want more whine with that?” Great one! The teachers are acting like a bunch of cry babies.

    • robot February 19, 2011 at 8:57 am

Heaven forbid those teachers have to pony up some of their own money for their retirement like the rest of us…
      It’s downright shameful.

Your title is dead solid perfect!

Excellent kickoff to the weekend my friend! You really gotta watch out for that Spellchek!(Shameless promo is outta my hands,I was motivated by a higher force)

    • robot February 19, 2011 at 9:00 am

No problem, 5e. I’ve added your Wisconsin post to the list.

      • 5etester February 19, 2011 at 11:27 am

Thanks, you didn’t have to do that. I just really liked the sign and caption.

  • Woodsterman February 19, 2011 at 9:23 am

They’re doing OK. Just look at the money they spent on the signs. Did you hear Rush yesterday? He found out these “poor teachers” make $89,500 for 9 months work each year. Oh the poor dears!

  • KingShamus February 19, 2011 at 11:56 am

Robot, thanks for the linkage. I always appreciate the support.

Those demotivators are full of win, homie.

  • proof February 19, 2011 at 12:31 pm

Isn’t it amazing how all those poor teachers who have to buy crayons and pencils themselves to give to their students, managed to have all those professionally printed signs, in short order for this protest?

Added bonus funny: My “Captcha code” is NPR2

Just a minor bolt to pick with ya, Robot. Your first automotivator erroneously associates these protesters with ‘Wisconsin Cheese.’ Those pictured, my friend, are Velveeta eaters. Velveeta is made by Kraft Foods with its global headquarters near Chicago. I do realize that space is at a premium in these automotivators so ‘Public Union Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product’/’You want more whine with that?’ would have been more accurate, but quite unwieldy.

    For the Tea Party:
Real Wisconsin Cheese/You want another Leinenkugel Golden Lager with that?

    • robot February 20, 2011 at 9:21 am

Heh, Sorry for the mix-up Steve. I certainly didn’t mean to aim the jab at all Wisconsinites. Just trying to shame the bad ones and hopefully make them stop disparaging the rest of the fine folks of your state by throwing their little pity party. I hear most of them were bussed in anyway, possibly from Chicago.

  • John Carey February 20, 2011 at 1:13 am

    The title fits Bot! Thanks.

Unions: Promoting the education of America’s youth by not showing up for work! Lazy bastages…

  • Bob Belvedere February 20, 2011 at 11:46 pm

Pardon the vulgarity, but a question arises: Is it true that the street name for Government Cheese is ‘dick cheese’?

PS: Red may have lost her mind, but she’s still cute.

ha ha ha. nice demotivational posters dude, I mean, robot.

and no. I most definitely do NOT want more whine with my cheese.

    • robot February 28, 2011 at 1:27 pm

Yea, they’re getting out of control over there. If the TEA Party won’t incite some riots, they’ll have to do it themselves.
