Ten Buck Fridays
When the Bob Etheridge story broke, I was pleased to learn that Bob had a viable opponent, Renee Ellmers. And as read more about Ellmers, I discovered that she isn’t just viable, she’s actually a formidable conservative candidate. As a Registered Nurse who works as Clinical Director of a Wound Care Center, Ellmers is keenly interested in taking a serious and proactive stand against the democrats’ health control legislation.
Now that the benevolent Democratic tyrants in Washington have appointed themselves to be our health care “deciders,” it’s good to see so many conservative health care professionals running for Congress. These are people who have demanding careers, but they’ve decided they can no longer stay on the political sidelines. Both the top two candidates in this week’s photo-finish TBF poll are health care providers who are determined to dismantle ObamaCare and replace it with real health care reform. Unfortunately, however, conservatives like Renee Ellmers and Dan Benishek can’t always rely on the GOP establishment for the support they need. Recent events have reminded us that conservative reform is a threat to the GOP establishment.
That’s why we must unite at the grassroots level to defeat statism. We have to invest our own resources in order torestore our freedom. Don’t wait for someone else to do it. Get involved now by giving money directly to a candidate who deserves your help. Including today, there are only 10 Fridays between now and the November elections. Conservatives all over the country urgently need our help. This Friday, please make a generous donation to Renee Ellmers.

I just made my donation… now it’s your turn!
Don’t forget to make a note of Ten Buck Fridays in the donation form.
Right Klik is back from some Capitalist efforts and has once again done some fine legwork putting together the Conservative Candidate lineup for your information and edification. I’ve posted the new poll on the sidebar as well.
Right Klik also posted a telling compilation of video moments from the last few months which tells the story of why it is so important for everyone to get educated and involved in the Conservative movement.
We must oust the Democrat and RINO Republican aristocrats who are trampling our Constitution and have been doing so for the last hundred years or more. It’s not going to be easy, but it is necessary if we are to remain a free America. Voting for true Conservatives is the only way to achieve this goal within the framework of our system of government. To remain on the path we’ve been on is a road to serfdom.
The TBF poll has closed and Delia Lopez, from Oregon’s District 3 pulled out a victory. I’ve just made my donation and plan to make another to one of my favorite candidates from Texas, Mr. John Faulk as soon as I finish this post.
There are a lot of good conservative candidates out there who are preaching constitutional principles and we all need to support them as much as we can. Please, let me urge you to make a donation to Delia Lopez to help her combat the rights stealing monstrosity that our government has become.
More on Delia Lopez for Congress.
Donate to the campaign to elect Delia Lopez.

The new TBF poll is up and running in the right sidebar. I’m a bit late in posting but better late than never, as they say. Be sure to cast your vote for whomever you feel is the most deserving for a TBF wave of donations.
Also, keep in mind that John Faulk is once again included in the poll. Mr. Faulk, in case you aren’t aware, is running against the infamous Queen Sheila Jackson Lee in Texas District 18, so right away you know where this Texan robot’s vote will go.
Hmmm, come to think of it, maybe the robot’s tin head could use a ten gallon hat…
I’ll have to ponder on that accessory.
Good luck to all the worthy candidates!

Another week closer to November and another conservative candidate is the beneficiary of a TBF moneybomb. This week Joel Demos has been chosen by popular vote to receive the coveted reward. Joel has garnered accolades from none other than Ed Morrissey of Hot-Air, who writes:
“Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District may be one of the most liberal districts in the nation. It sent Keith Ellison to Congress in 2006 and kept him there in 2008 by a 48-point margin. It’s a D+23 district according to the Cook Report, but that almost certainly understates the Sisyphean task any Republican would have in pushing Ellison aside, even in a year like this. Instead of Sisyphus pushing the boulder up the hill, Joel Demos gives us a slightly more modern take on how this task looks — and what it will take to succeed…
“Joel has the unenviable task of door-knocking in this district, but from what I hear around the campfire, he’s taking that task and others very seriously…”
As RightKlik says:
Demos also took the task of winning your TBF vote very seriously. He needs your help! As he noted in the original intro to his clever viral video, “This only works if you donate!”TBF is proud to help introduce Joel to conservatives all over the country, and we look forward to his victory in November. If you can, please send some cash to Joel Demos!Giving money to hard-working conservative candidates feels good. I know, because I do it every week! I just sent $10 to Joel Demos; now it’s your turn:Donate to Joel Demos here.(PayPal account NOT required)A new TBF poll goes up on Sunday. Please keep the nominations and blog posts, Facebook posts and tweets coming!

The new poll is up and awaiting your votes for the most deserving candidate. Right Klik has the usual round up and begins this week with a quote:
We’ll introduce this week’s TBF poll with one of the most important motivational lines of the year:Â “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good folks to do nothing…” ~Edmond Burke paraphrased

The new poll has been posted and once again John Faulk has been included in the list. (Yea!)
I don’t think I need to tell any of my readers of my complete disdain for the Congresswomaaaaan Queen Sheila Jackson Lee, so get to clicking and tell your friends about Ten Buck Fridays!
Right Klik has the list of candidates posted over at his place so head on over there and get to know some good conservative patriots.
And speaking of voting, The registration deadline in Texas is one month before the election in November, that’s October 2, 2010. If you know a conservative who hasn’t registered to vote, encourage them to do so!
This week marks the first time that a candidate I nominated did not win the TBF poll, but I’m not upset about it. John Faulk made a great showing and I’m glad to see the many Faulk supporters out there who wish to dethrone Queen Sheila J. Lee.
I will, as promised, be donating to both of these worthy campaigns.
Mister Faulk also had a bit of fun with the straw poll, showing what a true gentleman he is. For the details on that and the info on the winner, Patricia Sullivan, I surrender the virtual podium to my worthy colleague, Right Klik:

Happy Sunday patriots! The latest poll is up and running on the sidebar.
Another outstanding list of nominees for this weeks TBF poll. I’ve nominated John Faulk from Texas’ 18th District, who is running against the disgrace that is Congresswomaaaaan Sheila Jackson Lee.
If you reside in Texas I would urge you to at least consider placing your vote for John Faulk. I normally don’t press readers to vote one way or another in these polls, but in my opinionated opinion the Congresswomaaaaan needs to go and Mr. Faulk will be an excellent choice. I will say that no matter who wins the poll this week, along with my TBF donation, I’ll personally be making an extra donation to Mr. Faulk’s campaign.

John Faulk on the issues here.
As is normally the case, Right Klik has the complete roundup of information on all of the very worthy nominees.

Shamelessly stolen from RightKlik:
Dear Rush,
You’ve said that we should nationalize every House and Senate race in 2010. Well, I want to let you know that there is a small but growing group of bloggers who are trying to do just that. The effort is called Ten Buck Fridays.
Ten Buck Fridays is a small-d democratic moneybomb project of the patriotic blogosphere. Back in May, a blogger called Conscientiously Conservative declared her intent to donate $10 to a different worthy national Congressional candidate each week, and the concept is spreading across the web.
Each week, voters decide which conservative Congressional candidate needs their support the most, and everyone is encouraged to donate what they can to the winner. There is no middleman, no national committee; anyone motivated to donate sends their support to the candidates directly. The poll that closed last Friday morning was carried on 60 blogs and received over 2000 votes…
As of now, at least 65 blogs have helped to spread the word about Ten Buck Fridays, and over 2,600 people voted in this week’s poll!

- ResistNet: Chip is running against an 18-term Democrat
- No Sheeples Here: Ten Buck Friday — Chip Cravaack Edition
- Reaganite Republican: The idea is to make the donations online, directly to the candidate.
- SGP: I am proud to be helping out in this effort.
- Lilac Sunday: The consequences of inaction are clear
- Free Republic: While $10 is great, $20 is even better.
- The Camp of the Saints: It’s Don’t Buy A Pie Day, ‘Cause It’s Ten Buck Friday!
- Randy’s Roundtable: He is going after an 18 term DemocRAT incumbent
- JBlog Central: Ten Buck Friday Blogs Send Their Bucks to Chip Cravaack
- Fuzzy Logic: You know the drill, Patriots, fork over some cash for America’s future.

I’m all for it. Let’s contact these guys and drum up some more grass roots support for the program.
You go, Lilac Sunday. Now I’ve got another addition to the blogroll to make, which really isn’t such a bad thing, after all.
Woo Hoo! My nominee won!
Not to gloat or anything. The other candidates are all very deserving, I’m sure. It’s just that, as Ruby Slippers says:
Anyone willing to clean the manure out of the Capitol and bring a lawsuit against ObamaCare has my support.
Right-on Ruby, Right-on!
As usual, RightKlik has an excellent article explaining Mr. Irion’s political positions and a great video of Van on Glenn Beck.
You know, now that I look, I see that I have yet to add RightKlik to my blogroll. How in the world could I let that slip by? Sorry about that omission RK, I’ll fix that error shortly. It will make a future installment of my Robo-Love Experiment in linking a bit more difficult fun and interesting, but I’m not one to back away from a challenge. Now let’s see, how to work “RightKlik” into a story line… Hmmmm.
Check you guys later. I’m off to make a donation and do a little blogrolling.
Cheers!
