The new TBF poll is up in the sidebar. I would encourage everyone to research and vote for their favorite candidate. I’ve already cast my vote for Stephen Broden who, as I pointed out in the previous post is running against Eddie Bernice Johnson in TX 30. Stephen Broden is running on a platform of strong Constitutional principles and understands where Obama and the Progressives/ Liberals in Congress would like to take the country.

Right Klik has posted a list of all of the candidates with corresponding links and info for your enjoyment and edification. Please choose your favorites and make donations to these worthy Conservatives.

Here is a portion of a campaign speech from Pastor Broden on our duty to the Republic as citizens.

I must say, I really like this guy.

Happy Labor Day Weekend comrades!

Here’s a little roundup of great posts from the Robo-Reading List to help you through the next few days.

First, Carol of No Sheeples Here is participating in Project 2996, which for her part she honors the slain of 9/11/2001 with a tribute a day until Sept. 11. A very touching way to remember the heroes of that day who lost their lives. Carol’s blog has been featured blog this week, so please be sure to visit her site and let her know that an imaginary robot does indeed dream of electric sheep. Thank you.

As a side note, I’m considering changing the title of “Featured Blog” to “Honorary Android” or something close like “Android Army.” What do you think? Suggestions?

Next up is the blogosphere’s very own Stacy McCain, who truly earns the  title of “Roving Reporter” this week by traveling all the way to Alaska to cover some Republican primary or something. I think Joe Miller’s name came up at some point. While he was in the neighborhood, he stopped in to check on the Palin family.

As Red said, “How freaking cool is this?”

Speaking of my favorite redhead, she and the crew of Corndog are in the process of making the move to Texas and could use a little help for the U-Haul. Drop by over there and throw a couple of bucks in the tip jar.

So, one half of The Other McCain is off playing world traveler, rubbing elbows and rattling the tip jar no doubt trying to get enough shoe leather funds for a ride home, while Smitty, the balder and sometimes bolder half is covering everything else it would seem. Some highlights:

Recovery Summer?

Delaware Castle?

NYC GZM?

Social Conservatism?

SOS: Sissypuss, Obama, And Skippy

Staying on the election theme, my Jersey buddy Russ, the constant campaigner has been working his arse off for another favorite of mine, Anna Little who is up against some huge opposition in the form of Frank Pallone. Russ exudes confidence in his post over at The Resistance:

I’m telling you right now, as you sit there, that this is the single biggest House electoral upset in history in the making.

Just a sample of what we’re up against:

  • 22-year hard progressive incumbent (proud author of PalloneCare and cap-and-trade)
  • $4 million warchest (the richest in the house)
  • 2 to 1 D to R demographic in the 6th District (34-17)
  • Ridiculously gerrymandered District intended solely to keep Frank Pallone in office (just look at it sometime)

But we’re gonna win.

Here’s a link to Anna’s donation page. It takes money to win these campaigns folks. Either we give now to the candidates who will fight the beast or the beast will take your money anyway to redistribute as they see fit. The choice is yours.

I must add that all of the above causes are ones I consider most worthy. I wouldn’t recommend a donation to someone I haven’t personally donated to myself.

Now for something more light-hearted, The Troglopundit attempts to overcome yesterday’s Eva Mendes hotness with a single Megan Fox pic. Weak, my friend, weak, but still hot!

Lance also asks a relevant question.

Little Miss Attila brings up a good point about Chuck Norris:

Of course, there’s the issue of whether we should be listening to a guy who loses his damn gun in every single movie he’s in . . .

Then again, he is Chuck Norris, why would he be carrying a gun if not to lose it for the plot line?

Ha! I just used “Chuck Norris” and “plot line” in the same sentence. Where’s my award?

Bluegar. ROTFL Cougar. Bluegar. Whatever, watch the vid.

How does one spell “Bluegar” anyway?

Ruby Slippers points us to Dallas, TX Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson’s apparent mis-allocation of funds to her own relatives and the poor job she puts forth in defense of her actions.

Since 2005 Johnson has awarded a total of 23 scholarships to family members.Johnson additionally awarded scholarships to 5 other students who did not meet the residency requirements specified by the nonprofit Congressional Black Caucus Foundation

Eddie Bernice Johnson is also pointed out on this blog’s Texas 11 page, which  highlights the 11 Texas Representatives who voted for Obamacare, but the main reason for that page is not just to highlight those Socialist scumbags but to call attention to their opponents. Eddie B. Johnson’s opponent is the most worthy Stephen Broden, a Constitutional Conservative who has been a featured guest on the Glenn Beck Show on several occasions and who I believe spoke at the Restoring Honor Rally in D.C. last weekend with Dr. Alveda King although I did not see that part personally.

Hmmm, I think I just found a nomination for next weeks Ten Buck Fridays poll. Steven Broden!

Yankee Phil brings some Dennis Miller and MMMMMM, Bacon.

Cassandra over at Villainous Company plays Queer Eye for the Oval Office Guy, with hilarious results. And don’t forget the comments. Out. Freaking. Standing. Stellar work, Madame.

Gator Doug asks, “Hey kids, who is ready to see Alan Grayson make an ass of himself again?

Just what is a Rebel 5?

American Perspective (Formerly MAinfo) brings us Natale Portman and some good news of a bunch of Muslim protesters being told to STFU.

Proof Positive has a linkfest of his own going.

American Power notes that fewer young people are identifying as Democrat and comments on the queering of the school system.

Donald Douglas also reminded me of this gem from Fleetwood Mac, Rumours.

Fuzzi Slippers has been on some kind of blogging hiatus lately, but this piece is worth a link and two reads:

White Guilt and Gynoguilt: How the Left’s Culture of Victimhood Undermines Equality

Hope all is well in your world, Fuzzi 🙂

Doug Ross re-examines the Chrysler dealership closings at length.

Kristin is also a little scarce on posting of late, but what she finds time to share is well worth the time. Just beware the Attack Chicken!

Conservative Hideout tallies the damage from Obamacare.

Adrienne has a great roundup of her own.

Maggie’s Notebook offers:

The following Drudge headlines are all the news we need to know to Remember November.

Amusing Bunni has a baby who is not amused.

Motor City Times has some hops inspired music to my tin ears along with another collection of great links.

Obi’s Sister has a final word on the GZ Mosque.

Three Words: Diana Falzone. Yowza!

Bride of Rove has a little fun with the Beck Sex Tape fiasco.

Pundit and Pundette cue up a laugh track.

Obama Fail Blog wonders on the joys of  Trailer Park Banking!

And leaving on a humorous note, The Current has a Joe Friday clip.

Enjoy your weekend, folks! ~ ‘bot

And a belated thanks to Last Refuge of a Scoundrel for the nice words and blogroll add. I’m digging that ‘stang dude.

We had another nail biter this week with our TBF poll, and Ilario Pantano finished in first place. About fifteen minutes before the poll closed, Pantano and and Sean Bielat were tied! Coincidentally, both of the top two TBF candidates were endorsed by Michelle Malkin this week, as was Renee Ellmers (last week’s TBF winner).
Why should we care about races from North Carolina to Massachusetts to Oregon? Because every Congressman in every corner of the country has an impact on your life. So please support strong conservative candidates wherever they’re from. Don’t forget the fact that the National GOP establishment is primarily interested in perpetuating the National GOP establishment. And deep-pocketed industrial entities like Big Pharma and Walmart are often more invested in statism and crony capitalism than liberty and free-enterprise.
Economic and personal freedom will be available in the future only if we are prepared to make the necessary financial investments in leaders who will stand for our Constitutional rights and freedoms. If good candidates can’t get the money they need to run their campaigns from us (the grassroots), they’ll be forced to rely on special interest groups for their support. And then we’ll only have ourselves to blame for a country increasingly overrun by corruptocrats.
The bottom line is this. We can’t save our country with clicks and tweets. We have to give up our money. This week, please send some cash to our TBF winner, Ilario Pantano (or to some other conservative who understands the value of freedom).
Want to know why Ilario Pantano deserves your support? Michelle Malkin provides a good thumbnail sketch:

Longtime readers of this blog and Hot Air know the extraordinary story of Ilario Pantano’s heroism. He’s the Marine sniper-turned-Wall Street trader who rejoined the military after 9/11, faced the death penalty for killing two Iraqi insurgents in the heat of battle in a terrorist-infested town near Baghdad, fought fiercely and successfully to clear his name, wrote the book Warlord chronicling his experiences, and defended other defenders who volunteer to put themselves in harm’s way for their countrymen.

Pantano is continuing his journey of public service in the political square. He’s running against Democrat incumbent Rep. Mike McIntyre in North Carolina’s 7th district. UNC Wilmington prof andTownhall columnist Mike Adams has a nice profile of Pantano here.

Pantano’s website is here: He’s on a mission to protect the homeland, preserve conservative values, and increase fiscal accountability. Please lend your support to a warrior who put his life on the line for America.

*Here’s Ilario Pantano’s donation page.

Please leave the words “Ten Buck Fridays” in the online donation form.

The latest TBF poll is up on the sidebar. As usual, Right Klik has all the pertinent info:

The TBF poll in a nutshell: This is a poll designed to promote rising conservative stars. At the end of the week, the winner will be promoted by a network of over 80 conservative blogs and will receive a flurry of contributions from patriots across the country.
We’re working to fill a leadership vacuum that has resulted from the failures of the Washington-based Republican establishment.
Head on over to RK’s place, check out the worthy candidates and make your selection. Who deserves your hard earned cash this week?
When the Bob Etheridge story broke, I was pleased to learn that Bob had a viable opponent, Renee Ellmers. And as read more about Ellmers, I discovered that she isn’t just viable, she’s actually a formidable conservative candidate. As a Registered Nurse who works as Clinical Director of a Wound Care Center, Ellmers is keenly interested in taking a serious and proactive stand against the democrats’ health control legislation.
Now that the benevolent Democratic tyrants in Washington have appointed themselves to be our health care “deciders,” it’s good to see so many conservative health care professionals running for Congress. These are people who have demanding careers, but they’ve decided they can no longer stay on the political sidelines.
Both the top two candidates in this week’s photo-finish TBF poll are health care providers who are determined to dismantle ObamaCare and replace it with real health care reform. Unfortunately, however, conservatives like Renee Ellmers and Dan Benishek can’t always rely on the GOP establishment for the support they need. Recent events have reminded us that conservative reform is a threat to the GOP establishment.
That’s why we must unite at the grassroots level to defeat statism. We have to invest our own resources in order to restore our freedom. Don’t wait for someone else to do it. Get involved now by giving money directly to a candidate who deserves your help. Including today, there are only 10 Fridays between now and the November elections. Conservatives all over the country urgently need our help. This Friday, please make a generous donation to Renee Ellmers.
Donate here.
I just made my donation… now it’s your turn!

Don’t forget to make a note of Ten Buck Fridays in the donation form.

Right Klik is back from some Capitalist efforts and has once again done some fine legwork putting together the Conservative Candidate lineup for your information and edification. I’ve posted the new poll on the sidebar as well.

Right Klik also posted a telling compilation of video moments from the last few months which tells the story of why it is so important for everyone to get educated and involved in the Conservative movement.

We must oust the Democrat and RINO Republican aristocrats who are trampling our Constitution and have been doing so for the last hundred years or more. It’s not going to be easy, but it is necessary if we are to remain a free America. Voting for true Conservatives is the only way to achieve this goal within the framework of our system of government. To remain on the path we’ve been on is a road to serfdom.

The TBF poll has closed and Delia Lopez, from Oregon’s District 3 pulled out a victory. I’ve just made my donation and plan to make another to one of my favorite candidates from Texas, Mr. John Faulk as soon as I finish this post.

There are a lot of good conservative candidates out there who are preaching constitutional principles and we all need to support them as much as we can. Please, let me urge you to make a donation to Delia Lopez to help her combat the rights stealing monstrosity that our government has become.

More on Delia Lopez for Congress.

Donate to the campaign to elect Delia Lopez.

The new TBF poll is up and running in the right sidebar. I’m a bit late in posting but better late than never, as they say. Be sure to cast your vote for whomever you feel is the most deserving for a TBF wave of donations.

Also, keep in mind that John Faulk is once again included in the poll. Mr. Faulk, in case you aren’t aware, is running against the infamous Queen Sheila Jackson Lee in Texas District 18, so right away you know where this Texan robot’s vote will go.

Hmmm, come to think of it, maybe the robot’s tin head could use a ten gallon hat…

I’ll have to ponder on that accessory.

Good luck to all the worthy candidates!

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a link fest. Really not sure I’ve done any at all since the trilogy of Robo-Love Experiments #1, #2 & #3 that turned out to be a big hit with my friends in the blogosphere. Happy you guys liked them.

This one however will be a bit simpler and just offer a sincere thank you to all the blogs that have linked your humble ‘bot in the past month or so.

Oversight Update:

Conservative Perspective

——————————————————

Someone taught me how to treat my friends.

This just may qualify for a Rule 5 posting. Tune in Sunday to find out!

Another week closer to November and another conservative candidate is the beneficiary of a TBF moneybomb. This week Joel Demos has been chosen by popular vote to receive the coveted reward. Joel has garnered accolades from none other than Ed Morrissey of Hot-Air, who writes:

“Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District may be one of the most liberal districts in the nation. It sent Keith Ellison to Congress in 2006 and kept him there in 2008 by a 48-point margin. It’s a D+23 district according to the Cook Report, but that almost certainly understates the Sisyphean task any Republican would have in pushing Ellison aside, even in a year like this. Instead of Sisyphus pushing the boulder up the hill, Joel Demos gives us a slightly more modern take on how this task looks — and what it will take to succeed…

“Joel has the unenviable task of door-knocking in this district, but from what I hear around the campfire, he’s taking that task and others very seriously…”

About Joel Demos.

Joel Demos on the issues.

Donate to Joel.

As RightKlik says:

Demos also took the task of winning your TBF vote very seriously. He needs your help! As he noted in the original intro to his clever viral video, “This only works if you donate!”
TBF is proud to help introduce Joel to conservatives all over the country, and we look forward to his victory in November. If you can, please send some cash to Joel Demos!
Giving money to hard-working conservative candidates feels good. I know, because I do it every week! I just sent $10 to Joel Demos; now it’s your turn:

A new TBF poll goes up on Sunday. Please keep the nominations and blog posts, Facebook posts and tweets coming!

Ten Buck Fridays grew from an idea by Conscientiously Conservative.

The new poll is up and awaiting your votes for the most deserving candidate. Right Klik has the usual round up and begins this week with a quote:

We’ll introduce this week’s TBF poll with one of the most important motivational lines of the year:  “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good folks to do nothing…” ~Edmond Burke paraphrased

Who supports Ten Buck Fridays?
Donate to last week’s winner, Donna Campbell!
Also, check out what these patriots have to say about Ten Buck Fridays:
  • Lilac Sunday: Let’s make every Congressional race in 2010 a national race!
  • Left Coast Rebel: You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
  • Randy’s Roundtable: This week I am pulling for Rick Berg to unseat the 9 term liberal
  • No Sheeples Here: Get over there and cast your vote. When Friday rolls around, we will all band together to donate to the winner’s campaign in a collective effort to win back Washington.
  • Pirate’s Cove: Right Klik has the latest on Ten Buck Fridays
  • The Other McCain: Smitty reminds you to “Stay awesome, and don’t forget Ten Buck Fridays!”
  • Woody’s Place: Brilliant Video, Great Idea… Here’s a brilliant little video produced by Ten Buck Fridays.
  • Proof Positive: The first step in a participatory government is participating in who your candidates are. Unfortunately, that usually takes money.

Ten Buck Fridays grew from an idea by Conscientiously Conservative.

Congratulations are in order for Doctor Donna Campbell who is running against one of the 11 Texas wack-jobs that voted for ObamaCare. Lloyd Doggett decided to vote against the will of the people. He does not deserve to represent the great state of Texas any longer.
Ten Buck Fridays is shining a bright light into every corner of the country this year. Our goal is to help deserving conservatives across the nation as they fight to take the government back from the left-wing extremists who have defied the will of the people and have dragged our country to the precipice.
There’s no place for Pelosi’s liberal sock puppets to hide, not even in deep blue Austin, Texas.
Courageous conservatives like Donna Campbell need financial help. But if we all sit around waiting for someone else to provide that help, November will bring some serious disappointments.
Please give generously to this week’s TBF winner, Donna Campbell, M.D. I’ve sent my donation, now it’s your turn!
Campbell’s online donation form has a great place to identify your donation as a Ten Buck Fridays contribution.
You can find much more info on Doctor Campbell and the Ten Buck Fridays program at Right Klik.
