From The Troglopundit:

As a Tea Partier, I fully support the right of black Americans to defend themselves against racist lynch mobs.

More background from The Blaze:

Rep. Carson’s Camp Doubles Down After Blaze Exposes ‘Hanging on a Tree’ Tirade

As a fellow TEA Partier, I stand with Trog, even if the news of those lynch mobs roaming the streets has been a tad slow to hit the news outlets. I wonder where the lynchings the Representative refers to are taking place? Oh wait, has he been to Mexico lately? Or perhaps it was the middle east. Easy enough to confuse one with the other, except for the fact that, y’know, there are no TEA Parties in those countries.

Perhaps there should be.

I got your threats of violence right here. Where is the MSM?

*crickets*

Did these people miss a plane to Egypt?

Huge tip of the mechanical fedora to BigFurHat.

These are not mis-speaks. This is the thinking of the Obama regime.

I think this video should be viral. If you agree, then share it!

UPDATE: Beck produced this video in response to the smear tactics the left uses against Conservative candidates they are scared of such as Christine O’Donnell. They are using an off the cuff admission from Christine that she dabbled in witchcraft while a teenager in high school. Hmmm.

And now the Wiccans are getting their feelings hurt! How does that happen?

Wasn’t Mrs. Obummer introduced by a Wiccan at a fund raiser this weekend? Maybe O’Donnell should court the Wiccan vote a little more closely. ~ Nah.

Also, from the comments over at Riehl World View:

And don’t forget Obama’s first Social Secretary’s voodoo connection (which is probably how Obama got elected):

WSJ: “Desirée Glapion Rogers is the descendant of a Creole voodoo priestess named Marie Laveau Glapion…”
http://magazine.wsj.com/features/the-big-interview/desiree-rogers/

I’m never surprised by the depths the left will stoop to disparage an opponent. Never mind the fact that O’Donnell has since been led to Christ and is a devout Christian.

Oh. Wait. Never mind.

Also not to be missed, Carol over at No Sheeples Here has produced another outstanding piece of artistic snark you must see, so I liberated it from it’s digital bonds to decorate this wall.

Right up front, I must apologize. Using the term Baptist in the same sentence, or even the same article with a “man” like Fred Phelps is to disrespect Baptists everywhere. I was raised Baptist and the vile hatred these people spew is beyond contempt.

As an example, let me point you to the latest atrocious demonstration they are planning in Louisiana this Saturday at the funeral of a fallen American soldier. The motorcade and funeral of a hero and defender of freedom will be picketed as he is lain to rest by the very clueless people he died defending.

That’s some fine gratitude there Fred. I hope you choke on it.

I first heard of this from a certain corndog loving blogger and soon found that others such as Pat at So it Goes in Shreveport, and Bob at The Camp of the Saints had joined the cacophonous outrage that surrounds the stupidity.

But wait, there’s more! According to the appropriately named Lipton T. Bagg, at the newly bloggrolled website Viewed From The Right:

Beside protesting at the funerals of SPC Joshua Tomlinson in Minden, LA. (PGR is on this one, I understand) and Ronnie James Dio in Los Angeles, Westboro will also be doing multiple protests at Arlington National Cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery in KS., Boston and Lexington, MA. and in Portland, OR.

This is a travesty beyond comprehension.  To think they were educated within our own borders speaks volumes to the underlying problem these maroons represent. How can these people be Americans? They surely haven’t been properly educated as to what has made our country great. At least what it was before the progressives gained a foothold in government.

I understand moral and political outrage. Most times I think there should be more of it, and I don’t disagree with their right to protest, I just wish they would find another, more appropriate way to vent their anger. This soldier was the instrument of policy, not the maker of it. Take your protest to Washington, not the funerals of brave defenders of the very freedoms you enjoy. For that, you are awarded the title “douche-bag”.

Knowing the members of this hate-cult will never take the advice offered here, to the people who would stand by our soldiers, I will pass on a suggestion or two from the comments at Pat’s blog:

Janet said… At one of the other funerals where the WBC picketed, some students counter protested by holding up white sheets to shield the family from the picketers. What an awesome, peaceful way to take the wind out of their sails. It would be amazing to see that become a trend…

Also, stolen from Pat’s comment section, is this excellent counter measure from First Baptist Minden:

First Baptist Minden said… In response to the Westboro protest group, First Baptist Church Minden is providing a way for you to positively and to peacefully express your support. So for every minute that the protestors are on site, we are asking you to pledge a per minute monetary amount. ALL the proceeds will be given directly to the widow of a TRUE HERO, SPC. JOSHUA TOMLINSON. So the longer they choose to stay and protest, the more it will benefit SPC. JOSHUA TOMLINSON’S family.

If you would like to help, you can print and fill out this card and bring it by the church office, email it to fbcminden@firstminden.org or mail it to the church office at:

FBC Minden
ATTN: TOMLINSON FUND
301 Pennsylvania Ave.
Minden, LA 71055

Or you can call the Church Office at: 318-377-4434

I tried the FB page link. It appears to be down. The First Baptist Minden link should be working however.

Read more on this at My Bossier and an invitation  here, and at Andy’s Place, both also added to the blogroll.

God Bless America and the men and women who defend her.

UPDATE: Looks like the Westboro folks were a no-show. Good. Lipton T. Bagg has video of the patriots who lined the streets to honor this man and his service. Warms my heart to see Americans standing on principle.

Here is this week’s installment of the Peter Morrison Report. But before we get to that, I have a question. Why has it become a raaaaacial issue to speak against an illegal activity? Especially one that will clearly bankrupt the country if the practice is continued?

The Peter Morrison Report

Summary of this week’s report:

Texas State Rep. Debbie Riddle created a firestorm when she told a
left wing talk show host discussing the recent Arizona bill that
the reason race-based Hispanic groups aren’t in favor of a
crackdown on illegal immigration is that they’re used to
entitlements and want to keep them coming. Questioning
entitlements going to illegal aliens is an unpardonable sin in
politics. We need to commend Rep. Riddle and thank her for speaking
up on this issue and for refusing to back down in the face of
numerous personal attacks on her character.

Send a fax to Rep. Riddle,

Full report:

Texas State Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) found herself
in the middle of a firestorm the other day after she gave an
interview to an obscure left wing talk show host in Houston. An
attorney named Geoff Berg hosts a weekly talk show called Partisan
Gridlock on station KFPT which, just like Berg’s politics, is on
the far left end of the FM dial. KFPT is affiliated with the
notoriously radical Radio Pacifica network. For an idea of where
Berg and KFPT are coming from, just look at a few of the programs
on the station’s schedule: Queer Voices, Proyecto Latino
Americano, Uprising, Arab Voices, Nuestra Palabra and Voz de la
Tierra.

Berg was interviewing Rep. Riddle about her call for a crackdown on
illegal immigration. Rep. Riddle has promised to introduce
legislation this year that will be very similar to the recent bill
passed in Arizona; in other words, she wants a law on illegal
immigration that will actually be effective. During the interview,
Berg employed a typical left wing tactic – he prefaced his question
with “Without making it a racial issue…”, and then proceeded to
bluntly make opposition to illegal immigration into a racial issue.

Guess they weren’t TEA Partiers, or the MSM would have been all over it like fleas on a hound.

The Camp of the Saints has a couple of things to say about it.

William Teach over at The Pirate’s Cove found some other news on the riots in a couple of protests.

Gator Doug also has an expose’ on the May Day riots in Greece.

Even more on the protests from Michelle Malkin.

Matt Ross at Western Front America has legal dissection of the Arizona law and some more video.

Question: Does anyone in the MSM know how to use a search engine?

A quick search using the words “illegal protest violence” turned up plenty of evidence to support the fact that there was violence at the protests. Why is it ignored?

Here are some of the results: Red State, Hot Air, News Busters.

If you don’t have any of those sites bookmarked yet, what are you waiting for?

Right here.
