Some outstanding articles and videos I ran across today. Thanks to all the bloggers for your hard work.
Exploring ‘Explaining Postmodernism’ By Stephen R. C. Hicks – 1st in a series by Smitty
An Inconvenient Socialist – Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – Ladd Ehlinger of Film Ladd uses the “N” word. No, the other “N” word. – Found at The Camp of the Saints where Bob offers some additional *gasp* NAZI history.
Also, @FilmLadd produced a hilarious ad for Sean Bielat who ran in 2010 against Bawney Fwank which Michelle Malkin used in her sendoff post to the outgoing POS. Unfortunately, it’s been rumored that paragon of truth and virtue, Maxine Waters, will take his place. Sheesh! Will this be another case of out of the frying pan, into the fire?
We need a bit of humor for a break. Here’s the ad: “The Barney Shuffle:â€
Scary: Scientists make flu virus that could wipe out civilization – Bluegrass Pundit
Monthly Bulletin of Islamic Persecution of Christians – Atlas Shrugs
Islamists Expected to Win Big in Monday’s Egypt Elections – American Power

‘Conservative’ Newt’s New Deal – Classic Liberal
Lastly, I wish to express my solidarity and admiration to a Friend-I’ve-Never-Met and fellow blogger, Teresamerica, who has been holding the torch of truth high in her exposure of Islam as the religion of hate that it truly is. That bright light has attracted some vermin from the ether who has threatened her life!
Death threats should be taken seriously and reported immediately. This is no game and we must all stand together against the individuals and organizations who would have us give up our First Amendment right to free speech.
God bless and protect you, Teresa.
From The Classic Liberal, we get a reminder of what it means to be Libertarian.
Recently a member of my family labeled me an extremist for my political activism so, this quote became my instant favorite:
“I have need to be all on fire, for I have mountains of ice about me to melt.” It is this spirit that must mark the man truly dedicated to the cause of liberty.
The article also posits a question: “Would you push the button?”
My answer: In a heartbeat.
How about you?
UPDATE: Richard McEnroe of Three Beers Later posts a Serious Libertarian Quiz in which he ponders the limits of property rights in a purely libertarian society.
Be sure to join in the lively discussion after both of these pieces.
Been a while since I had time to take a snapshot of the olde blog-o-sphere so, here goes…
Soldiers’ Angels Valour IT is still on. Check out Howling at the Moon for an update. Then donate to the Marine Team, you Jackwagons!!
Hat Tip to FleeceMe who has his own killer roundup.
No One of Any Import garnered another Instalanche with one of her recent posts. If one could actually turn green with envy, my muffler looking moniker would be lime with it. Congratulations, Linda. Well deserved praise indeed.
M friend and fellow Texan, GatorDoug has a few bullet points of comparison between the principles of Marxism and the policies affecting Americans today:
Yes, Communism still stalks us. Never forget that.

White House staffers got raises nearly three times the national average. And (surprise!) Obama lied about it.

Have a great weekend folks, what’s left of it.
Quite a few bloggers have stepped into the radio world of late so here’s a little roundup of those shows for you.
First, Chris Wysocki from Wyblog and Right Wing News was interviewed on the Andre Contraversa Show. He’s got the last thirty minute slot, right after Prof. William Jacobson of the blog Legal Insurrection. Both interviews have some great conversations.
LMA has a post discussing the dustup and she thoughtfully included some feminist Rule 5. (Can there be such a thing?) Thanks Joy!
Stacy McCain has also posted about the debate and included a list of his previous postings on feminism.
Now, while we’re on the subject of bloggers on the radio, I remember a show from last December featuring a couple of my favorites, the fearless Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs and Bob Belvedere of The Camp of the Saints, also on DaTechGuy on DaRadio. Pamela, as I recall, was on fire that day, let me tell ya.
Lastly, please note that DaTechGuy is moving to a new website DaTechGuyBlog.com so, be sure to update your links.
Congratulations to all of you guys on your excellent interviews and debates. Here’s to many more appearances in the future.
To the rest of you, happy listening!
Here’s a collection of WTF articles I’m running across as I Bar-B-Que in preparation for the Stupor Bowl tomorrow.
Not WTF but WOW! – Video: The skin gun
We now interrupt this WTF link fest to wish a happy blogiversary to our much beloved friend Amuzing Bunni!
Happy Blog Day, babe! Be sure to hop on over to Bunni’s place and wish her a happy happy.
Back to the WTF, but speaking of bunnies,
Year of the Snow Bunnies? <— Rule 5 greatness from the Wysoki
Obama calls out Mubarack over ignoring the people’s wishes.
Hello pot? This is kettle… (Was that raaaaacist?)
and, nothing says WTF like hearing this from The Trog… Danica Patrick is dead to me.
A robot weeps.
Now for some creepy WTF – Facebook Exchange With Alex Knepper
and, not necessarily WTF, unless you think the left is actually for American values, even then it’s more OMG!
The quote is actually from David Horowitz, but Professor Douglas has some video and the link to Mr. Horowitz’s article.
Stepping once more out of the WTF department, Carol has something to wash your mind out with:
That’s all for now, gotta see what’s happening at the Barbie Que.
I’ll probably update this post later so, we’ll see ya when I get back! If these ladies let me, that is.
Sunday UPDATE 1:30 pm:
Sliced and ready.
As penance for ignoring the blog for over a week and as a reward for reaching the halfway mark on the tedious project I’m working on, the robot presents for your viewing pleasure the lovely and talented Cheryl Cole Tweedy.
Now quit looking at me like that.
Well, as close to here as I can be and not actually be here. This is a drive by post, really.
Work has been kicking my butt lately so I’m obviously not posting as much. I am however working on updating the US Timeline page in my spare time and yesterday added some new entries mentioned in an outstanding post over at Fuzzy Logic. I’m also working to add a few more later this evening or tomorrow. The rueful thing is, there are ever more additions to make to the list.
Meanwhile, my friend Steve sent me some musical pron that I just have to share. Some Rule 5 in the form of Meytal Cohen.
This chick rocks! Check it out:
What is Rule 5 you ask?
The Other McCain’s Sunday roundup offers a pretty broad example.
As does The Pirate’s Cove
and The Daley Gator
Catch you on the flip side.
Articles that caught my attention this morning. I’m just bookmarking as I read here, so no particular order. Kind of a stream of consciousness, random sampled information ingestion.
It tastes better than it sounds. Try it.
And finish your milk.
Oh, and quite a few of these links are from new additions to the blogroll.
Bonus at POWIP, Aimee Mann!
Careful with those guns, Ma’am – Possibly NSFW
Well, that explains it then.
Herman Cain is savoir-faire. He’s everywhere!
Ok, brunch is so over. Time for a Sunday drive and maybe some bar-b-que later, or something. I am not spending the rest of the day on the computer. So there.
Have you noticed what a beautiful day it is?
Have you bought a T-Shirt yet? Get ‘em while they last!
ps. Here’s a song that’s been stuck in my head the last couple of days. You’re welcome.
When I was playing the Need for Speed games, Brooke Burke happened to be one of the celebrities they embedded into one of the games. Lucky me.
Now, lucky you.
As usual, click to embiggify.
