Also, this video, because charity begins at home and Joan asked us to share it. Visit her site for more info.

I may add on later, if time permits.

Merry Christmas, my friends and reader. May God bless you all.

It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?…

Won’t you be, my neighbor?

Hi boys and girls.

Welcome to Mr. Robot’s neighborhood.

A lot has been happening over the last few weeks, and sometimes we get so busy that we forget to take time for friends. to smell the roses so to speak.

There are lots of flower gardens in Mr. Robot’s neighborhood. There are lilies, daffodils, dandelions, azaleas, obaminions, daisys, Chaz Yonsons. Not to mention the rose bushes.

And speaking of roses, it’s been a while since we’ve gone to see our friend Carol who, strangely, makes the robot dream of electric sheep. (shhhh – Don’t go there. This is a PG 13 show.)

Would you kids like to come with me to visit the nice ladies in the neighborhood? Sure you would. Let’s go.

Carol has been busy decorating and adding her own brand of Christmas spice to her No Sheeples Here! website. She has also been honored with a nomination for the “Grande Conservative Blogress Diva 2011” award from Gay Patriot. And we here at the Robot’s Pub and Pool Hall congratulate her for this most deserved nomination.

Just beyond Carol’s abode is one of my favorite magnolia blossoms, Obi’s Sister. I wonder what Obi’s Sister has been up to this week? Let’s peek in to find out….
Look! she’s found Teh Awesome.

Obi’s Sister always brings the good stuff to the party.

Down the road a little more, we find Opus#6 doing some redecorating of her own.

Good for her. Woodsterman does indeed have a knack for the olde school workmanship.

Opie shares that bit of beauty with us and in the post before, asks us to answer this sobering question:

Tell me again how Islam is the religion of Peace?

One wonders what can possibly be the reasoning of the Democrat party to align with people such as this.

Then we find her giving no slack to the President and his regime and offering another thoughtful rumination for our consideration.

As we walk down the streets and lanes of Mr. Robot’s Neighborhood we also find some other great things on display and ladies espousing their unique points of view.

UPDATE: I missed this yesterday which could have been a worse mistake but for finding it today. Which is to say, how fortunate for those of you who had also missed it, because now, you haven’t.

Due to the thoughtful presentation and thorough documentation of the following article,  it will be included on the “Prime” page of this blog for future reference.

Bravo Fuzzy.

History Class (Circa 2100)

Thanks to all these ladies for their hard work, for making my little neighborhood look and smell so nice, and for keeping your sharp eyes out for the monsters under the bed, or in the White House.

Merry Christmas ladies, and to you readers who put up with a drunken automaton.

Do those guys ransacking the diner remind you of our Congress?

Does Fiona bring to mind someone trying hard to ignore the destruction of our constitution?

Does Fiona meet with The Other McCain’s or Wombat’s *ahem* strict Rule 5 specifications?

Patience, grasshopper. Sunday awaits.

Just wondering.

Opus#6 brings up the subject when she posts a picture of Lady Liberty naked and asks:

Is ogling lady liberty’s hot cakes making us a better nation?

Good question. I felt a bit guilty after seeing the image.

It’s a natural thing, I suppose. I mean, who hasn’t cruised by Liberty Island and hollered, “Hey toots, nice cans!”

The way things are going, wouldn’t a better acronym for the TSA be T N A?

No, I’m not going to post the image. You’ll have to head over to American Perspective to see Lady Liberty Naked, then you can be ashamed of yourself, just like me. Although, I didn’t purposefully go there to see that image like you’re about to, so I’m still technically innocent. See how that works?

You know, now that I think about it, does it make me an accomplice when I post the link? Nah, actually you don’t have to click the link. I’m really performing a public service by warning you that Opus#6 is posting Naked Lady Liberty pictures. She’s the one who should be ashamed.

Bad Opie. Bad.

Should you feel you need a spanking, I’ll be right here. 1500 miles and a quick grope and plane ride away.

Tune in Sunday to The Other McCain’s Rule 5 roundup to find out the answer to the question posed in the headline.

With todays excursion into the Rule 5 jungle, we find the very lovely Gemma Atkinson, lounging in various pieces of lingerie.

How fortunate for us.

Rawr.

Gimme more Gemma!

I’m thankful for many things in life. To be in the company of fine folk such as yourselves, I count as a blessing. I raise a glass to all you patriotic friends and acquaintances. God bless us, everyone. And please God, Bless America.

In Jesus’ name, Amen

It’s time for a break from the political realm.

Time to step back for a moment and remember that beauty, and reason for wonderment abound.  It’s all around us. Take for example, this lovely lady, Veronika Zemanova. The good Lord has blessed this young lass with beauty and talents galore. It is our duty to admire his handiwork.

That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.

More after the break:

I posted a link yesterday urging people to call their Senators to support an amendment to the new FDA expansion being crammed through the lame duck congress at the moment. Whilst I’m waxing wishful, how’s about instead of modifying that POS legislation, we urge them to scrap it completely. I think we’ve seen what the current power hungry mongrels infesting the House and Senate are capable of. I don’t think I want any more of the like, thank you very much. No.

I know. Fat chance.

HT/ ToM

On the same lame subject, this morning’s Heritage Foundation Morning Bell cites some disturbing numbers which, combined with the recent Wall Street legislation, ObamaCare, QE2, Bailouts and reckless spending by the Democraps amount to nothing more than a Cloward/Piven-Alinski-Obama Trifecta of assault on our way of life.

So just how big an expansion of government does Dingell, Pelosi, and Reid want to inflict on the American people to combat a non-existent food safety crisis? Well, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that the legislation would require 50,000 domestic and foreign inspections in 2015, compared to just 7,400 in 2009. That is a sevenfold increase in government inspections. And the government would be reaching into a lot of new places as well. The act requires that all food “facilities”—including those home-based businesses that make jam, bread, and cheese for local markets—would be required to undertake periodic hazard analyses and produce “risk-based preventive controls.”

‘bot – Personally, I really would like to see these guys sit on their hands and do nothing for the remainder of their terms.

In another take on the same subject Shrink Wrapped says: The FDA Will Kill Us All

H/T Doug Ross

Bill Zwerger, posting at The Lonely Conservative has more on the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, otherwise known as the bend over and grab your ankles one more time please. This won’t hurt a bit. We’re just combating another manufactured crisis here. No need to worry yourself at all. POS Legislation # Umpteen Hundred of of 2010.

The Daley Gator has more: Big Brother finds newest threat to mankind

Received these pictures today from an alert reader.

1890 Grave-site in the Attica, Kansas Cemetery

Mr. Grigsby knew them all too well.

UPDATE: The CL reminds us of a post from a year and a half ago.

It’s easy to brush stuff like this off, especially with so much going on these days, but please don’t. This is serious.

Freedom really is, the single most important issue of our time.

It’s insane what’s going on in America today. Scary. Find your inner-Jefferson folks, it’s liberty or tyranny. The choice is yours.

UPDATE II: The Other McCain lists the other items on the Democrat agenda for the Lame Duck session. Anyone remember the attention they paid to us as we demanded their ear on health care reform? Yea. More of the same. “Ram it through!” is the rally cry of the Lame.

Have you been over to visit the Reaganite Republican lately? Well, if you haven’t, you have some catching up to do. RR’s been fired up of late and has a couple of must read articles worthy of your time.

Monday he sounded the Horn of Helm Hammerhand to rouse the napping TEA Partiers to vigilance in a post titled:

Devious Lame-Duck Dems: This is Why Companies Don’t Allow Fired Employees to Stay Another Month to Pilfer and Sabotage

As legislators return to the Hill today, don’t let the reported “slow start” to the congressional lame duck session lull you into complacency… rather expect the worst and keep your guard up for a sharp left-hook at anytime over the coming weeks.

Please do read the whole thing as it lays out all sorts of nastiness they are planning for what just might be the lamest session of congress evah.

Earlier, RR asked this pertinent question:

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot: WHY is Marco Rubio Backing John Cornyn for NRSC Chair…?

That’s right… the same John Cornyn that tried -and failed- to screw-over Rubio in Florida by putting-in the fix for Sunkist Crist is now running unopposed... and Marco Rubio reportedly supporting his bid to remain NRSC Chairman!

The unfortunate conclusion of which was also covered vigorously at The Other McCain.

Lately, RR piqued my interest with articles discussing backwoods inventive auto repair and international arms and drug smuggling.

In other news, over at American Power, Prof. Douglas points us to another illegal immigrant doing a job an American citizen just won’t do: Fresno State Student Body President.

He also reports that Nancy got the job.

And now for something completely different. A pseudo-man, a myth and an obsession with Sarah Palin’s Uterus. Good times.

Speaking of Sarah Palin and obsessions, Tina Fey Awarded First Douche Nozzle Prize.

One more thing.

Tell your Senators to pass the Tester-Hagan Amendment and the Manager’s Amendment to protect family farmers! – Do it now.

Have a nice evening.

It’s come to this. Obama has exhausted all options short of apologetically bowing to Osama bin Laden  himself. (Oh, he did? Never mind.) So exhausted are our options he must now call on the only unused item in the arsenal and he’s chosen the blogosphere’s very own Smitty to wield it.

The Troglopundit honors Smitty with his own neolithic version of a send off. Careful following the link. Be sure to place any beverages on a flat surface. Wouldn’t want to ruin any keyboards.

No Runny Eggs has posted his own, along with Steve Burri and No Sheeples Here.

UPDATE: YankeePhil chimes in.

Image thanks to Amusing Bunni

First, a poll question: Does anyone use Google reader anymore? I’ve switched to one called Feedly, which pulls sources from Blogger Following, Twitter and Facebook. It’s been working pretty well, but I’m wondering, what do you guys use?

What I’m reading this morning:

Iowahawk places himself on double secret suspended probation. Or something. And in the process, gets his-self an Instalanche! Congrats dood.
