Motor City Times
If he’s repeating the same lines as 2008, then isn’t he running against himself? Isn’t he admitting he’s done nothing to fix the problems he claims to have inherited or that his policies aren’t working?
“If Someone Isn’t Doing The Job, You’ve Got to Let ‘em Go” ~ Clint Eastwood
Some outstanding articles and videos I ran across today. Thanks to all the bloggers for your hard work.
Exploring ‘Explaining Postmodernism’ By Stephen R. C. Hicks – 1st in a series by Smitty
An Inconvenient Socialist – Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – Ladd Ehlinger of Film Ladd uses the “N” word. No, the other “N” word. – Found at The Camp of the Saints where Bob offers some additional *gasp* NAZI history.
Also, @FilmLadd produced a hilarious ad for Sean Bielat who ran in 2010 against Bawney Fwank which Michelle Malkin used in her sendoff post to the outgoing POS. Unfortunately, it’s been rumored that paragon of truth and virtue, Maxine Waters, will take his place. Sheesh! Will this be another case of out of the frying pan, into the fire?
We need a bit of humor for a break. Here’s the ad: “The Barney Shuffle:â€

‘Conservative’ Newt’s New Deal – Classic Liberal
Lastly, I wish to express my solidarity and admiration to a Friend-I’ve-Never-Met and fellow blogger, Teresamerica, who has been holding the torch of truth high in her exposure of Islam as the religion of hate that it truly is. That bright light has attracted some vermin from the ether who has threatened her life!
Death threats should be taken seriously and reported immediately. This is no game and we must all stand together against the individuals and organizations who would have us give up our First Amendment right to free speech.
God bless and protect you, Teresa.
Been a while since I had time to take a snapshot of the olde blog-o-sphere so, here goes…

Hat Tip to FleeceMe who has his own killer roundup.
No One of Any Import garnered another Instalanche with one of her recent posts. If one could actually turn green with envy, my muffler looking moniker would be lime with it. Congratulations, Linda. Well deserved praise indeed.

Here’s a collection of WTF articles I’m running across as I Bar-B-Que in preparation for the Stupor Bowl tomorrow.
Not WTF but WOW! – Video: The skin gun
We now interrupt this WTF link fest to wish a happy blogiversary to our much beloved friend Amuzing Bunni!
Happy Blog Day, babe! Be sure to hop on over to Bunni’s place and wish her a happy happy.
Back to the WTF, but speaking of bunnies,
Year of the Snow Bunnies? <— Rule 5 greatness from the Wysoki
Obama calls out Mubarack over ignoring the people’s wishes.
Hello pot? This is kettle… (Was that raaaaacist?)
and, nothing says WTF like hearing this from The Trog… Danica Patrick is dead to me.
A robot weeps.
Now for some creepy WTF – Facebook Exchange With Alex Knepper
and, not necessarily WTF, unless you think the left is actually for American values, even then it’s more OMG!
The quote is actually from David Horowitz, but Professor Douglas has some video and the link to Mr. Horowitz’s article.
Stepping once more out of the WTF department, Carol has something to wash your mind out with:
That’s all for now, gotta see what’s happening at the Barbie Que.
I’ll probably update this post later so, we’ll see ya when I get back! If these ladies let me, that is.
Sunday UPDATE 1:30 pm:
Sliced and ready.
Articles that caught my attention this morning. I’m just bookmarking as I read here, so no particular order. Kind of a stream of consciousness, random sampled information ingestion.
It tastes better than it sounds. Try it.
And finish your milk.
Oh, and quite a few of these links are from new additions to the blogroll.
Bonus at POWIP, Aimee Mann!
Careful with those guns, Ma’am – Possibly NSFW
Well, that explains it then.
Herman Cain is savoir-faire. He’s everywhere!
Ok, brunch is so over. Time for a Sunday drive and maybe some bar-b-que later, or something. I am not spending the rest of the day on the computer. So there.
Have you noticed what a beautiful day it is?
Have you bought a T-Shirt yet? Get ‘em while they last!
ps. Here’s a song that’s been stuck in my head the last couple of days. You’re welcome.
Found at American Digest, who says:
As a boy I would have strangled a thousand kittens to have something like this. As a man, I feel the same way.
As I commented at A.D., Awesomely useless. I want to see it in person.
I’d bet Steve over at Motor City Times would get a kick out of this.
… I jotted down as possibilities for posts one morning this week while listening to the radio. Yea, amazing how much the government throws at us, all at once. It’s quite literally impossible for one person to keep up. I didn’t get around to any of them due to a heavy workload, but that doesn’t mean the issues aren’t worthy of your attention or scrutiney.
Isn’t it time we ceased all government funding of “art?”
Wikileaks – I call this a major distraction. I know, its big, but think of this, if they are using the latest leak as a distraction, something this huge, just what do they want to distract us from?
No one person has done more to jeopardize American lives and make the American people unsafe than President Obama. ~ Pamela Geller
Food Bill S510 – Are you ready for the FDA in your backyard garden? Big Brother’s itching to put his green thumb on your neck.
Gulf drilling ban extended to 7 years while foreign nations drill in same waters – further proof of Obama’s hatred for business and red states.
DREAM ACT – I’m still for deporting all illegal immigrants and securing the border. However, here’s another sober take on the issue.
New “Buzzed Driving” Bill, lowers the legal limit of alcohol to .05%. – Why not just close every beer joint, pub and bar and bring back prohibition? Which is what this bill would effectively do. These girls are definitely against it.
Houston – Cameras cameras cameras. First the Red Light Cameras and Houston City Hall’s refusal to honor the will of the people, now the city is set to install police surveillance cameras all over the city. Can you scream Big Brother loud or often enough?
The latest to receive a pseudo-imaginary trophy as Featured Blog here at the Robot is my good friend Steve of Motor City Times. It’s a long overdue honor, however dubious it may be.
Our government is steadily growing in size and complexity. Lucky for us, Steve, along with the other rabble rousers and Right Wing Conspirators who gather from time to time at The Resistance, stand ever vigilant, watching and documenting the increasing encroachments of our liberty.
You owe yourself an honest look at where the true enemies of liberty make their camps, as the battlefield of ideas is an ever changing landscape and one would be wise to not discount Steve’s assessment of the state of our great nation.
For me, Motor City Times is a trusted source of news and info from not only Detroit and the state of Michigan but from across the fruited plains and across the globe. Steve has a sharp eye for detail as one can see from his thoughtful analysis and commentary on a wide ranging field of study, from economics to climate change to music and of course any manner of automobile and motorized contraption one can fathom. Steve’s site is definitely a worthwhile pit-stop on the Information Superhighway.
Be sure to bookmark Motor City Times. Visit often, and leave a comment or two. Bloggers like that sort of thing.
Also, be sure to give Motor City Times a place in your blogroll, if you haven’t already done so. You’ll be glad you did.
Be sure to drop by and wish a hearty Happy Happy to my good friend Steve of Motor City Times, who is celebrating his second blog anniversary!
To commemorate this auspicious occasion, we here at the Robotic Institute for the Advancement of All Things Bodacious have searched high and low for the proper gift and it comes to mind that a little Rule 5 might be in order.
Happy Blog Day my friend.
Also, don’t forget to check out ToM’s Sunday Rule 5 Roundup.
