Democrats Still Drooling Over Your 401(k)

Here we go again.
That paragon of economic virtue, Teresa Ghilarducci has surfaced once more to expound the benefits of the government taking over seizing confiscating stealing your 401k “for your own good.” I wrote about this little banshee back in May, after O’biden made a slip of the tongue with regard to their plans for redistributing your retirement nest egg. Now, it appears she has been gaining ground with her arguments because, as Doug Ross points out, it’s not off the table. In fact, your 401k may be part of the main course for the upcoming lame duck session of Congress.
Doug writes:
…I am not a conspiracy theorist. But I can put two and two together. Earlier this evening Papa B pointed me to an oozing secretion from the Puffington Roast, which markets the idea that 401(k) retirement savings accounts are evil and should be abolished.
He goes on to detail Mzzz. Ghilarducci’s well laid plans to confiscate your dough.
Guilarducci and the Democrats are advocating legalized theft of the juicy trillions of dollars Americans have saved in their retirement plans. Nationalizing those accounts would support massive new spending programs plus payoff the unions and crony capitalists looking for more bailouts at the “workers’” expense.

I also find it worth noting that:
Mz. Ghilarducci was named by US News and World report as the Most Dangerous Woman in America back in 2008. It appears they may have been on to something.
And, Mz. Ghilarducci “at times” has been a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, a fact noted in their National Political Committee meeting minutes of Sept. 28-29, 2009 as being considered for Vice Chair. – Thanks Wikipidia.
Keep your eyes peeled, folks. They’re not done by a long shot.

How ironic is this?
And what do you mean by “appear?” Is he going to emerge from a mythical, magical cloud of smoke? Since they’ve already announced it, they kind of blew that surprise though, don’t you think?
But I guess it is an option.
Via the Christian Science Monitor comes the headline:
“Obama on ‘MythBusters’: Will he get to blow something up?”
I would have edited that to read “Will he get to blow something else up?” especially after the last year and a half with he, Pelosi, Reid and the whole Hee-Haw gang of Democrats having presided over the destruction of what remained of our Constitution.
Never mind the facts though. The CSM staff is giddy, giddy with excitement.
We can’t wait – will Obama wear a toga? Will he hold up a big magnifying glass and light fire to a sheet of poll numbers to show the gang how it’s done?
Sheesh. I bet given the chance, he’d light The Bill of Rights with that magnifying glass and use it to light a cigarette.
OOPS! Look what I did! Tee Hee Hee. Oh well, time for a smoke break.
Here’s an idea that will never happen: Howsabout we take that magnifying glass and examine that mythical birth certificate? Hmmm? Let’s put those years of mythbusting to some actual use. But alas, that ain’t gonna happen. I wouldn’t believe anything that came out of their leftie little mouths anyway.
Still, there are endless possibilities and mysteries to be explored. They could hook him up to one of their lie detectors, but then again, I’m quite sure the polygraph machine couldn’t take so much abuse. There just isn’t that much room on those graphs for the required squiggling needle movement.

Yes, these mysteries and more could be explored and the myths surrounding the man could be busted, but it isn’t going to happen.

Political Writers’ Block – Party

I’ve been at a loss lately for some topic for an essay. Maybe not so much at a loss as much as experiencing a bit of burn out. Here’s a stream-of-consciousness piece I wrote trying to break the blockage:
Writer’s block party!
Everyone is invited, of course. I’ll let you guys start the conversation since lately I’m kind of at a loss with what to discuss.
Well, since you ask; the way I see it, you can only say Obama sucks in so many ways. Besides, if you haven’t chosen a side by now, in this political climate, you are purposefully ignoring the gravity of the situation here in America. And if you are still on the leftist side, there’s nothing I can say to you that will change your mind. Lefties are a lost cause as far as I’m concerned. The evidence is there. Ample evidence. You lefties just choose to ignore it or worse, actually want to tear this country apart at the seams, which, in either case makes you an enemy of freedom and a traitor to this country. Aiding and abetting the destruction of my country is not something I take lightly.
I recon I’m going to lose a few friends in the near future but lines have been drawn long ago that must be beaten back. We can quibble all day long about libertarian versus conservative. Hell, even old school liberal versus republican, but when push comes to shove, if a person today sides with the Democraps, they are an enemy of the Constitution and by inference, the people of this country.
Come November 3rd, we will have a new kind of country, one in which a goodly number of people have awakened. The new electorate will have yet to be sworn in and I wonder on the rashness and brashness of the existing aristocracy and how much damage they have yet to do. Once, I made an Automotivator that stated making Obama and his congress a lame duck would be the best that could happen. I have to retract that statement in this case. Pelosi, Reid, Obama, Greyson and their ilk have proven time and again they have no shame and will stop at nothing to wrest control of the country from the people. I worry that they will, after a sweeping Conservative victory this November, get vindictive over their coming loss of power and push through more destruction of our Constitution. Worse yet, is the possibility of stolen elections. I don’t hear much of that in the sources I keep up with but I put nothing past these criminals.
Yep, we’ve got a lot of work to do. We really have yet to get started. It’s like watching a bad contractor tear up your house only, in this case, we have to wait until their contract is up until we can fire them. Why is that? Why can’t we at least expunge these bastards right after the election. At least in a contractor’s case you could fire them and get them off of your property before they can do more damage. It would be nice to tie their hands so they could cause no more damage is all. I know what I speak of is not allowed in the constitution, just wishful thinking and impatience on my part.
That’s my rant for the day. I feel better. How about you?

After much contemplation, a lot of hand-wringing analysis of the site stats, and a few beers, I’ve come to the conclusion that Bob Belvedere is right. I have a problem titling my posts. See, I’m stoopid. I was under the impression that people might actually be interested, even a bit PO’d to find out the identities of the insidious Socialists in their State Governments, but I guess not. (Those of you who shared the posts are of course not included.)
The socialists at the national level? Who needs to search for those? They are on TV and the intertoobz every day. I can’t turn on my radio without hearing Obummer spouting off about his latest Baracklishment, and after the HealthCare jam-down, anyone who is remotely sane has already put names to their particular demons.
So, where are you going with this ‘bot?
Glad you asked.
From now on, I’m going to strive to be more creative, more exciting, tantalizing, even titillating with my headlines.
For instance, I think the “1000+ Socialists in State Governments” post could have been helped with some more panache’. How about:
“Beer Swilling Space Aliens Take Over Capitol!”
No? OK, let’s try to inject a bit more sex.
“Big Breasted Babes Danger to Mother Gaia!”
“Massive Melons Threaten to Tip Earths Axis!”
“Cleavage Crisis Widens! Enviro-Mentalists Urge Ban on Silicone!”
That one should start a riot or two.
Here’s one for the “Twilight” crowd:
“Deadly Vampire Swamp Creatures Invade New Hampshire! Ignore At Your Own Peril!” (Some may be more truthful than others.)
Sure, they have no relevance to the article. So what? The New York Times and National Enquirer get away with overblown hype every day. People want entertainment. They don’t want the truth. The majority of them wouldn’t know the truth if an America-hating Commie/Muslim was in the White House stealing trillions from them for his personal slush fund and trashing the nation’s sovereignty while smacking them in the face with a Ground Zero Mosque! To them I say, careful what you ignore. In today’s day and age, what you don’t know can and will kill you.
Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s rant. I was really pissed off when I started this. Now I’m only slightly flustered.

Lately, we bloggers have been focused on the national elections in our attempts to reclaim and restore our Constitutional Republic. The people who belong to the Progressive States Network are working against that goal at all levels, including the State Legislatures.
As noted in the previous post, 1000 Progressives in State Governments,
The PSN is a network of Progressive organizations that share Obama’s goal of the ‘fundamental transformation of America’
and as noted on the new Socia.list page, the members of the PSN Board of Directors include a bonafide “who’s-who” of Progressive/Socialist/Communist thought.
The Socia.list is depressingly long.
It shows just how much work we have to do to vote these people out and restore sanity to our Republic, but it can be done. Here’s how, as I see it:
1. Make note of who your representatives are along with their opponents.
2. Get that list to your TEA Party and Republican Party leaders for distribution.
3. Get out the vote!
4. Watch the Progressives lose office on Nov. 2.
5. Rest a bit.
6. Get back to work!
There are still some Progressives left, but we will have hopefully ousted enough to make the rest fear for their jobs. Go forth and strengthen the organizations you’ve joined and or started. Two years remain before we can truly turn the ship of state in the right direction, towards a restoration of our Founding Principles and a Constitutional Republic.

1000 Progressives in State Governments

UPDATE: One-Thousand Progressives, according to the PSN Letter to Obama Supporting Obamacare.
Our American society has never seen the level of corruption in evidence today. It’s as if some mind controlling parasites have infested and infiltrated every nook and cranny of our system. The deeper you go down the proverbial rabbit hole, the more tentacles you find. Across borders, oceans and economic systems it reaches to control your every movement and very existence. As an example, if you were to expound and expand on Obama, Pelosi and Reid’s new healthcare plan, they would wish to grant or deny even your right to exist, as evidenced by our federal government’s obsession with killing babies. Do any of you trust your government to the point of giving them control, Chairman Mao like, over the number of children you can have? Rest assured that a government that funds elective abortions of its citizens would jump at the chance to dictate your ability to procreate at all. That type of tyranny is one that would grant such rights by your political party affiliation or what amount of tribute you bring to their throne.
If you believe, as I do, that the Progressive/Socialist/Communist agenda is at its heart, an evil one, then you must also conclude that this movement must be stopped.
Enter the Progressive States Network. Ever heard of them?
The PSN is a network of Progressive organizations that share Obama’s goal of the “fundamental transformation of America.”
I’ve seen what that transformation looks like and I don’t like it.
How does it work?
Their plan is to introduce Progressive/Socialist legislation at the State and local levels in order to gain a foothold on those issues at the national level both in the media and in the federal legislature. In the process, they are grooming candidates for national office.

Create Jobs, Give States Fiscal Relief
All three of these would sound innocuous to the normal Americans, but in reality, they are letters demanding that the Federal government become more involved in the States’ activities and our personal lives at a time when we need less Federal involvement in anything State or personal, with the exception of sealing the border.
From the “Jobs” letter:
…Accordingly, the federal government must take proactive steps to create jobs and enact further fiscal relief for state and local governments. This includes extending FMAP increases for Medicaid, providing additional support for education, boosting funding for infrastructure projects and public transportation investments, supporting the long-term unemployed to sustain them until they reenter the workforce, and providing direct financial assistance to state and local governments to perform the vital services needed to maintain growth in local communities across the nation…
Signing on to the “Jobs” letter from Texas are:
- Rep. Garnet Coleman (TX-147) Co-chairman of the PSN Board of Directors. Garnet was quoted recently on the Marxist emag Political Affairs. Sadly, Rep. Coleman is unopposed.
- Sen. Rodney Ellis (TX-13) Opponent: Michael Mauldin
- Rep. Jessica Farrar (TX-148) Opponent: Fernando Herrera
- Rep. Eddie Rodriguez (TX-51) Opponent: Marilyn Jackson
Nowhere in that letter is any mention of tax cuts or pro-business incentives for job creation, unless you count their concern for the loss of jobs in government and social services.
Government has grown too large as it is! The people who would fight for more government and social programs over actual private enterprise and real economic growth must be ousted from office at every level of government, Federal, State and local. Failure to do so, is to leave a bit of cancer in the infected host.
Those wanting to increase government dependents have been drafting recruits while we worker bees have been busy paying for their campaign through taxes for years and recently, stimulus packages re-routed to ACORN type organizations. Obama type community organizers have been training Progressive recruits how to “help moderate members of Congress” by framing Progressive issues in “palatable” ways.
An example of from the Center for Progressive Leadership
Question: Why would I need to make an issue “palatable” if it will stand on its own merit?
Answer: Because it is a lie in need of sugar coating.
Progressives are Socialists are Communists and are by definition anti-American. It’s past time everyone was made aware of their existence and agenda.
I would encourage bloggers to research these letters and the people who signed them. Find their opponents and support them. Post them in lists by state on your blogs along with their opponents.
November is coming!

This weekend, I plan to create a new blog page similar to the Texas 11 that, beginning with Texas, will contain a list of the State Senators and Representatives who align themselves with the PSN, along with their opposing candidates if available.
The title of that page will be Socia.list.

Viva Le Belvedere!

My friend in the ether and co-conspirator in the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, General Robert “Bob” Belvedere, has penned a response to Brent Bozell’s claim that we conservatives are The Revolutionaries.
To paraphrase: “Au Contraire” says the Belvedere, “The revolutionaries occupy the White House and have their butts firmly planted in many seats of our houses of Congress. Butts that one January day in the near future will be thrown out of those seats.”
All we seek is a restoration of those unalienable rights that we are endowed with by our Creator and that are codified in the freedoms and liberties bequeathed to us by The Founding Fathers in The Constitution Of The United States Of America.
Conservatism is not revolutionary. It is, in fact, quite the opposite. By definition conservatism seeks to preserve tradition and tried and true methods that have proven worthy of merit.
A restoration is exactly what we seek.
Sometimes one person or group’s definition of progress is not desirable. For instance, why on earth would America want to run headlong into Communism or Socialism, when the rest of the world is running away from those political, social and economic policies? They obviously don’t work and yet we have the numb skulls in office, on both sides of the aisle, clamoring for the Keynesian policies that, if left unchecked, will eventually enslave our entire population!
I say we need a thorough delousing of Congress.

Obama’s Gulf War…

Problem: News outlets are reporting heavily on a bi-partisan letter from representatives Gene Green (D-TX) and Charles Boustany (R-LA) calling for an end to the defacto drilling moratoium in the gulf and co-signed by 37 Democrats & Republicans.
Solution: Blow up another oil rig.
Purely coincidental, I’m sure.
How long has it been since an accident on any oil rig large enough to make headlines? Besides the BP Deepwater Horizon, I can think of none in recent memory. Now we have two catastrophic explosions in the time-frame of a few months, one of which occurred one year after receiving a safety award from the Obama regime and being included in the top three for a Pollution Prevention Award from the Interior Department’s Minerals Management Service scheduled to be awarded a month or so after the explosion…
and the lords of irony smiled.
Is this the beginning of a new truther movement?
If it is true, all I can say is, thank God we have a man of action in the Oval Orifice who knows how to identify an enemy and take decisive action against it.
If only he could identify the right enemy.
Obama’s Environmental Justice Claims it’s First Victory Victims

Jobs, in Port Arthur, Texas.
According to a report in the Houston Chronicle, Obama’s EPA has decided:
A proposed pipeline that would ferry Canadian crude oil to Texas refineries has run afoul of the recharged federal push to protect minorities and the poor from an overburden of pollution.
More like protecting them from the overburden of a job.
As noted in the same article, Port Arthur has one of the highest unemployment rates in Texas despite the dense allotment of refineries and chemical plants located in the area.
As to the EPA decision I have to speculate the Port Arthur City Council must not have been “consulted” when the powers that be made their decision. Then again, maybe they were, those council members might have asked for a little too many carbon credits or petroleum perks for the regime’s sensibilities. Again, I’m just speculating here though. I’m sure the EPA and the city truly have the *cough* best *hack* interest *barf* of all those minority residents at heart.
I can see how not being able to feed your family without a government handout is much better than earning a decent wage and providing for your own. A sense of pride and self worth is always a negative thing when compared to the usefulness of a dependent, especially when attempting to sell some new government run entitlement.
Port Arthur and Jefferson County in general have been a Democrat stronghold in Texas for years. Why the Obama regime would chose to punish a town with a large minority population just because of their race is beyond the computing ability of this robot. It surely can’t be because of their voting record.
I think we are about to see first-hand how the term “Environmental Justice” will become another form of discrimination, just another package with a different name.
I also think it’s fair to point out that as much as Obama and his cronies point the racial finger at the TEA Party with no evidence to back up their accusations, this is a true case of admitted discrimination against his own race. Oh, but wait, maybe it’s his white half that he will attempt to blame this one on.
Then again, Socialism knows no race except in the best ways to be derisive and divisive to stir the petty differences as this president does. To share the wealth in this man’s case means to spread the misery. It’s truly a shame that it’s so easy to do with a complicit Congress.
Surprise! Obama Backs Ground Zero Mosque

What a shocker. Our first Muslim President backs a shrine to the 9/11 terrorists.

Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.
While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed “hallowed ground,” Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.
Ummm, No.
The proper way to honor the 3000 killed at Ground Zero is to build a memorial to the victims and heros of that day, not a mosque that will in effect be a monument to what those in Islam believe to be a triumph over America. But then you don’t need me to explain that to you. You know full well what it means and are a perfectly willing accomplice in the attempt at Islamifying America and lying about the role of Muslims in our history.

If you will lie about your faith. What won’t you lie about? Isn’t it S.O.P. for Muslims to lie in order to infiltrate their enemies’ rank and file?
We are besieged on all fronts and still most of America ignores the truth or is ignorant or silent.
America should show the world we will not stand for the desecration of our landmarks and the introduction and implementation of Islamic law in America. The first step to eradicating this threat to our American way of life should be the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama, who clearly stands against our Constitution and every American tradition and value we hold sacred.

Andrew McCarthy, writing in the NRO today cites a Washington Times article questioning the ever popular subject of the left, “Separation of Church and State.” It’s interesting especially when the government now appears to be financing a fund raising trip by the very Imam who is behind the Ground Zero mosque in New York.
This appears to be a direct violation of that clause but who wants to bet that the MSM stays as far away from it as they did Obama’s background with known terrorists like Bill Ayers or fact that he’s admitted he’s Muslim?

End Racial Preferences in Texas

A few days ago I received a link to a video of Morgan Freeman chatting with Mike Wallace about race. I like Mr. Freeman’s answer very much. Aren’t we all just people?
I was reminded of Mr. Freeman’s comments today when I read the current issue of The Peter Morrison Report. Peter has written a very courageous piece this week and should be commended for taking a stand on this important issue. Racism should be stamped out, no matter what side of the fence it originates from.

Affirmative action, racial quotas and racial preferences are grossly unfair and blatantly unconstitutional, but they have now become standard operation procedure. Our schools, businesses and local, state and federal government agencies are engaged in a massive campaign of discrimination against the majority of Americans, simply because they’re white. If we don’t put a stop to this now, with America’s rapidly shifting demographics, it may soon be too late, and our children and grandchildren will be permanent second class citizens in the country their forefathers built.
Send a fax to Governor Rick Perry, Lt. Governor David Dewhurst and Speaker of the Texas House Joe Straus and tell them to put a stop to all quotas, set asides, affirmative action and all other forms of racial preferences in Texas.
