Nick Taxia, aka Duh Progressive, penned a great piece that should be a companion to the latest movie, 2016 Obama’s America. It’s an eyes-wide-open look at how Obama possibly views America and the world and the roots of that perception from before Obama’s birth.

A brief sample:

Obama proclaimed during his 2008 campaign that he seeks to “fundamentally change” America. In truth, Obama and his ilk are out to do much more. They seek to eliminate callous Social Darwinism and its economic Siamese twin, capitalism, throughout the entire world, replacing them with a global paradise where there is no chance for exploitation, violence, discrimination, or even judgement based upon racial, cultural, religious, sexual, or any other human differences; where there can be no inequality of any sort, and where no one can rise above another in any regard, be it fair or not…a world where everyone gets a trophy. The same trophy.

The President wants to tell us “stories?” Well this is it. This is the story of Barack Obama’s macro world view; a sad, massive case of reflexive overreaction to hundreds of years of perceived white male dominance, economic exploitation (capitalism), enslavement, genocide, and the lifeblood of all those things, a cruel dog-eat-dog mentality (Social Darwinism) perpetuated by Earth’s primary rulers of the latter half-millennium. I would proclaim Obama a Marxist if it was not for the fact that based upon this view of human existence and the American experience, Barack Obama, well, out-Marxs Marx!

I’ve added Nick’s piece to the Prime page because I found it to be a great piece of writing and because I believe it fills in more than a few holes in the president’s hidden past. Please take the time to read the op-ed in its entirety. I think you’ll find it worthwhile.

Duh Progressive – Murder, Rape, Repression, and the ‘‘Real Story’’ Barack Obama Would Love to Tell

Disturbing budget news from Government Gone Wild.

Regular readers of this site probably know what I think. What about you? Fear mongering or truth?

In perhaps the most important op-ed published in my lifetime, Thomas Sowell perfectly describes Barack Obama and the slow erosion of our rights that we in the blogoshpere have been crowing about for years.

The America that has flourished for more than two centuries is being quietly but steadily dismantled by the Obama administration, during the process of dealing with particular issues.

I don’t think that can be emphasized enough.

He goes on to say:

If laws passed by the elected representatives of the people can be simply over-ruled unilaterally by whoever is in the White House, then we are no longer a free people, choosing what laws we want to live under.

When a president can ignore the plain language of duly passed laws, and substitute his own executive orders, then we no longer have “a government of laws, and not of men” but a president ruling by decree, like the dictator in some banana republic.

I’ll not waste your time or sully his words by trying to add to them here. Professor Sowell’s article deserves to be read in it’s entirety.

Interesting collaborative invention between Dave Mears (@dave_mears) and yours truly today on Twitter.

I use the term “invention” loosely because it appears we all have a pair of these things. We just may be unaware of it.

Shhh. Don’t tell anyone until we patent our common-sense invention that everyone has in their possession.

Nah. I’m sure it will go completely unnoticed until the next century or so, when some archaeologist finds them, puts them on and proclaims the last hundred years have been a complete drain of socio-economic and political wisdom and that the world leaders must finally renounce their stranglehold on the peoples of the world, admitting that capitalism is indeed the key to prosperity. Then they shoot him, pronounce him a heretic, lock up the glasses in a warehouse with the Arc of the Covenant and go on about their merry, utopian, business.

Yea. That’ll be about right.

Her parents must be so proud.

While the rest of the country is struggling with a real unemployment rate of +16%, the unending attacks on working class Americans in the forms of Obamacare’s coming tax hikes in 2013 and beyond and Obama issuing an unconstitutional Executive Order allowing illegal immigrants to steal American jobs by granting amnesty in the form of deferred deportation passports, I’m sure we, as Texans can all be proud of state representative Mary Gonzalez’s latest announcement that she’s decided that she is gender neutral or “pansexual” or something.

What. Ever.

Get out of our congress, you self-servicing, pubicity-hound. Why in the world would you wait until AFTER the election to announce your self-proclaimed androgynous perversions unless you were aware of the repulsiveness of your lifestyle to the people you supposedly represent?

What, exactly, do you mean by “better” or “families,” for that matter? Does “it” think that announcing the choice to be perverse in some way actually improves the family unit? I’d like to see the study on that. Wait, don’t get any ideas. We don’t need government wasting more money we don’t have funding another useless report on such reprehensible activities.

Christian News Network reports:

A Democratic woman that was elected to the Texas House of Representatives earlier this year has announced that she is a pansexual.

Mary Gonzales, 28, who was believed to be the first openly lesbian state representative, befuddled many when she divulged the information in a recent interview with the Dallas Voice. Gonzales stated that she is not only “sexually-oriented” to both men and women, but also transgendered men and women. She explained that a pansexual is a person who does not believe in a “gender binary,” because “gender identity isn’t the defining part of my attraction.”

Gonzales said she kept the term in the closet while she ran for office and rather allowed people to classify her as a lesbian, but after beating out two challengers in the primaries and currently finding herself running unopposed by any Republican challengers, she wanted to clarify the matter.

“During the campaign if I had identified as pansexual, I would have overwhelmed everyone,” Gonzales stated. “Now that I’m out of the campaign, I’m completely much more able to define it.”

She advised that when she was 21 years old, she first characterized herself as a bisexual, but then changed the term to pansexual after having relationships with transgendered persons.

Normally, I would not care what your activities are behind closed doors, but you, dear lady(?), since you are in position of legislative authority and have used your platform to proclaim and promote your lascivious lifestyle, force my hand to expose the activist use of your office for what it was not designed.

You have also assisted in exposing the democratic party as the association of reprobates they are. Thank you. I think.

I hope the people of El Paso remember your dishonesty and misuse of your office when it comes time for re-election.

Thank you, gents!

This morning, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney announced what some are calling a bold choice in his pick of House Budget Committee Chair, Representative Paul Ryan (R – WI) as his Vice Presidential running mate. Rep. Ryan, you may recall from 2008 and again in 2010, proposed the comprehensive Roadmap for America’s Future, as it became clearer the Obama administration’s intentions were to tax and spend our way into debt oblivion.

After being chosen to chair the Budget Committee, Rep. Ryan introduced the Path to Prosperity, which further solidified his position as the person who could articulate the problems facing our nation and offer common sense solutions to fix them. Here is a playlist of the three short videos laying out that plan.

AS one can imagine, there is no shortage of commentary on the internet. Here’s a sampling:

This was a bold choice, far more bold than I expected. My first reaction when I heard the news was one of deep ambivalence, drawn naturally from knowing how the Obama campaign and media would distort Ryan and his budget proposals.

The nation now is faced with a stark choice, economic freedom and solvency or creeping socialism. It’s a choice we are not often willing to put to the electorate in such stark contrasts, but it was the choice long before Ryan was selected.

Ryan puts the national debt front and center in the election, on par with or maybe even ahead of jobs. This is a winner of an issue, it’s what motivated people in 2010, and it will cause huge turnout for Romney-Ryan.  Fear not.

Steve at Motor City Times has a few videos of Rep. Ryan in action and asks:

I wonder how “Plugs” Biden is feeling this morning, with the October 11th VP debate looming?

Heh, good question, Steve.

Right Hand Man at Sentry Journal says:

YES!

…Ryan is going to be attacked like he’s never been attacked before.  For the democrats, this is just adding a granny killer to the already wife-killing Romney ticket.  For this reason, I feel for Ryan and his family.

If there is someone who is able to rise above the nonsense, however, it is Ryan.  He talks numbers like a savant but is able to do it eloquently and with charm, never embellishing in distractions and insults.  He’s forceful but not overbearing, he’s willing to challenge the President and he’s equipped to do so…

Romney shuns “safe” Portman pick and goes with Rep. Paul Ryan – Conservative Hideout 2.0.

I think Paul Ryan is a great choice, it will allow Romney to have Ryan tackle the budget process while he focuses on job-creation for the remainder of the campaign.

Rightly said, Matt.  I think it also sets Ryan up to be a great choice for president should Romney win the election and serve two terms. We’re going to need a steady hand at the wheel for many years to steer US out of the fiscal maelstrom that years of gross over-spending has brought us into.

Somehow I take great pleasure in linking MSNBS and their announcement. Mainly be cause, let’s face it, the heads of Maddow, Schultz, Sahrpton, O’Donnell, Matthews, and the rest will be exploding. I can see them now, hyperventilating, possibly foaming at the mouth, as they look for ways to demonize Ryan.

Smear campaign? The Other McCain isn’t surprised. New Democrat Campaign Message: Grandma, Cliff, Some Assembly Required

Members of the Democrat-Media Complex like Charles Pierce of Esquire and James Fallows of the Atlantic are already registering their disdain of Paul Ryan, and the Democrats are busy e-mailing their massive oppo-research PDF dossier to reporters, so the media attacks on Ryan are pre-scripted dictation from the DNC research department.

This is predictable, and is the best argument for picking a conservative like Ryan: No matter whom Romney had chosen, the Democrats would have demonized the GOP running mate as a Jekyll-and-Hyde combination of Dick Cheney and Martin Bormann.

WyBlog — Liberals are cryin’ because Romney picked Ryan.

Paul Ryan, granny-starver:

Make no mistake. In his decision to make Paul Ryan, the zombie-eyed granny-starver from Wisconsin, his running mate, Romney finally surrendered the tattered remnants of his soul not only to the extreme base of his party, but also to extremist economic policies, and to an extremist view of the country he seeks to lead.

Representative Ryan has stood athwart Obama’s ill-conceived plans time and again, weathering all manner of slander and malignment from our president and his surrogates without falter. In the opinion of this commentator, Chairman Ryan is an excellent choice for Vice President and acknowledges the difficult decisions facing our nation. With the Ryan pick, Romney makes a clear statement that he will tackle those decisions head on and he’s chosen a man notably well equipped to handle the challenge.

Cross posted @ Texas Conservative News: LET’S DO THE MATH: ROMNEY + RYAN = 2012 WIN!

Got a good chuckle out of this one. I wouldn’t recommend it but…

I just got my Federal tax return “Returned”! I was trying to get a jump on doing my taxes this year, but the IRS sent my tax return back!!
I guess it was because of my response to the line which said “List All Dependents.”  I replied: “12 million illegal immigrants, 3 million crackheads, 42 million deadbeats on food stamps, 2 million people in over 243 prisons, and 535 fools in Congress.”

Apparently, this was NOT an acceptable answer. So I sent it back with a question …”Did I forget someone?”

Guess I’ll be turning down that killer IT job at the Defense Department.

The Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency warned its employees and contractors last week to stop using their government computers to surf the Internet for pornographic sites, according to the agency’s executive director.

In a one-page memo, Executive Director John James Jr. wrote that in recent months government employees and contractors were detected “engaging in inappropriate use of the MDA network.”

“These actions are not only unprofessional, they reflect time taken away from designated duties, are in clear violation of federal and DoD and regulations, consume network resources and can compromise the security of the network though the introduction of malware or malicious code,” he wrote.“Specifically, there have been instances of employees and contractors accessing websites, or transmitting messages, containing pornographic or sexually explicit images,” James wrote in the July 27 memo obtained by Bloomberg News.

In the world of Big Brother concepts like CyberSpying on individuals and such, hasn’t the government learned to secure their own computer networks from porn sites?

Hell, even my workplace has installed security measures to keep employees from visiting sites such as ebay and craigslist, not to mention actual porn sites, not that I have the inclination to visit any.

Now that I think on it, has the Obama administration reassigned some of their recently disgraced Secret Service Agents to the DOD? Inquiring minds want to know!
