then commences to whine about our supposed human rights violations, which, if there are any at all, are the direct result of progressive/socialist policies.

How UN-American.

If we are to take this one step further we could liken Obama’s lawsuit against Arizona and the subsequent report to the UN as a drug pusher who whines to his addicted flock about not being able to stop selling them dope, all the while enjoying the lavish perks of the income.

As Peter Wehner says in his article “How Obama Sees America”

It is also evidence of a particular cast of mind, one that is eager to undermine America’s moral standing in the world. That has been a consistent effort by the current administration. We have seen if from the president, who seems to take special delight in denigrating our country before the rest of the world, and those such as Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner, who went out of his way to assure us that in discussions with China about human rights, the Arizona law against illegal immigration was brought up “up early and often. It was mentioned in the first session, and as a troubling trend in our society and an indication that we have to deal with issues of discrimination or potential discrimination, and that these are issues very much being debated in our own society.”

If the apologist in chief were to enforce the laws on the books we would have far less of a problem to deal with. But we know that’s not about to happen.

As The Heritage Foundation points out, the Universal Periodic Review is nothing more than a ham-handed praise fest for all of the human rights abusers to pat themselves on the back, and by joining the farcical circle-jerk, Obama has given the United States her first day in the barrel.   ~ Umm, well, I was paraphrasing a bit there.

Again, how UN-American of you, Obummer.

There seems a bottomless pit full of new and creative ways for barry to pizz me off. He never runs out.

It’s like one fella wrote over at Big Government: the left continue to hurl insults of ‘bigotry’ and ‘racism’ at us and then expect to win our votes come November. Incredulous. Obama’s administration is a farce and a travesty of liberty. Unfortunately AZ finds itself in the unenviable position of red-headed step-child while America watches on in protest. Accusations of human rights violations are best saved for countries who actually do that like say, North Korea and China, Iran and Afghanistan just to name a few.

The only human rights violation I can think of is the refusal of our leaders to confront the Muslim men who behead their Muslim women on American soil, or murder their daughters in cold blood.

America is not the home of selective damnation…unless we let it be.

This is disgraceful MNR. Anyone thinking Hillary Clinton deserves to sit in the Oval Office is not thinking clearly.

Maggie, the Hillary supporters have always been a mystery to me. Especially the conservative ones. They seem to be making the same mistake the blacks *gasp* made in supporting Obama over someone far more qualified such as Condi, who IMHO the conservative Hillary supporters should have been behind as well.
MLK rightly said and Beck reiterated this weekend that it’s about content of character, not color of skin, and in the case you mention, gender.
And don’t get me started on the “stand by your man” feminists who support Hillary. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Some Hillary fans have seen the light. Just check out Hillbuzz and see.

Countries like China should not be judging us on human rights.

Tee Cee Ell, couldn’t agree more. The whole of the UN is a cesspool of violations, and we are to be subjected to their scrutiny? It’s laughable.

  • Matt August 31, 2010 at 11:22 pm

They’re going to go over OUR civil rights problems with the CHICOMS? That’s like apologizing to Satan for being very naughty!
