Blogging friends send the nicest emails.

Take this one for example. Carol of No Sheeples Here, sent in a cartoon I’m sure she thought was funny.

Hardee-har-har-haarrr, Carol.

I refuse to laugh at this. No matter how hilariously funny it is funny you think it is.

No matter how distraught the woman looks at being deprived of her Robo-Love.

W H A T ! ?

If I were she, I’d be on the phone to the repair shop post haste. No time to waste!

And doesn’t the poor robot in this portrait have that “deer in the headlights” look? Like, “This has never happened before. I promise.”

Is there Viagra in C3P0′s future? Only George Lucas, Isaac Asimov or Phillip K. Dick know for sure.

NASA surely doesn’t. It’s got sand in it’s gears at the moment.

Does bring to mind some old James Brown though…

As you can see on the right, the latest poll has been compiled and posted by RightKlik. I think everyone knows the drill. It’s all about vetting the candidates and securing a money bomb for the one most in need. RK has all the candidates’ info with links to their respective sites and other pertinent data.

On a side note, I’d like to thank RightKlik for featuring the ‘bot on his blog last week. A truly nice thing to do. Thanks Bro, I will return the favor one day soon. Who knows, you might even get a visitor from it. ;-)

Unbelievable.

A while back, I made note of the Robot breaking the Technorati Top 100 US Politics, well today I notice the blog is in the top 50 in USP, and top 100 in General Politics!

Woo Hoo!

Where did I put those noisemakers and funny hats?

Hmmm, the New Year’s supplies are packed away. Guess I’ll just drink a beer and smoke a cigar. Oh, that’s right, I quit smoking.

Speaking of smoking, thanks, toots, you are smoking.

Some would ask, “‘Bot, what’s your secret?” The answer is, it is a secret, even unto me, for I haven’t a clue as to their algorithm. Still, it is kind-of cool. Whatever I’m doing, Technorati seems to like it, so, we’ll keep doing whatever that is.

I know there are blogs out there that get huge amounts of traffic compared to my little smidgen of the web, sometimes they throw links my way. That is really the biggest factor, in my estimation.

So, with that in mind, I go back to what R.S. McCain, of The Other McCain  would call “Shameless Blog-whoring.”

Have fun with what’s left of your weekend folks.

Cheers!

Neither have I, but I like the way he thinks. He “gets it,” unlike most of his generation, in my experience. In his latest post, he outlines the subtle progressive infiltration of the AARP that we all know happened long ago but felt the subject was off limits to discuss for fear that Mom and Dad would disown us for wanting to cut their umbilical cords to Medicare. Sadly that was the tactic used to enslave them and us, and now we are seeing the progress and results of that particular blunder.

Trestin has written a fine piece, from a young man’s perspective, on the whole AARP, Social Security, Medicare travesty.

It can be found here.

Well done Trestin. Well done indeed.

There is still hope to be found in the youth of our country. Let’s endeavor to encourage right minded thought and action in them, for in the youth of our nation, lies our future.
